Port and Starboard
When I was arranging these lobsters for their portrait I noticed the complimentary colors of the rubber bands, colors that are also used on boats to distinguish right from left. Then I wondered about the different sized claws. Every lobster has a big crushing claw and a smaller one, a violin and the bow. Turns out they occur pretty much in equal number right or left in the population of lobsters.
