Simplicity

Closing up an old summer house on Loud’s Island off of Round Pond, ME. Dish towels cover the silverware and dishes in the drainer. Everything’s put away for another year. Nothing behind us but a summer of good memories and nothing in front of us but a boat ride to the mainland and a six-hour drive back to reality. The beauty is that when the house is reopened next year it will all look and feel the same, as though captured in amber.
