Whaleboats in Mystic

On this morning the water at Mystic Seaport was just still enough to capture the reflection of these recently repainted beauties. Looking carefully you see the bow of the boat in the middle and the stern of it’s mates on either side. The notch near the bow of these boats is to steady the harpooner.
