Lobster Talk

It’s barely dawn just outside of Round Pond harbor. Most of the world has yet to stir but lobstermen are already well through their day. Here a couple pause to compare notes over cups steaming coffee. Whether they’re talking about the day’s catch, the coming front, or local politics probably doesn’t matter. These are conversations that have taken place hundreds of times before across different gunwales and will probably take place hundreds of times in the future.
