Christmas Snow
My wife Kathy and I drove through a past the Lewis Farm Christmas Eve to a friend’s house and were snowed in. Coming home Christmas Day, the roads were plowed and the sun came out, though the temperature hovered around zero. The snow banks looked like mountain ranges and the smoke from morning fires sat like haze over the valley. I’ve also painted this farm in the summer from the other side, looking north.
